Gisela H. Maia graduated in Neurophysiology in 2006 at CESPU-ESSVA (Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Ave). In 2016, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Nikolay Lukoyanov, PhD in Neuroscience at FMUP - Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto, presented the thesis titled "The role of ascending serotonergic pathways in epileptogenesis and pathologies associated with epilepsy".
She started her professional activity in 2007 at Clínica MediBrain , which was the founder and is currently responsible for the EEG and Neurofeedback laboratory of this same unit, and also the technical coordinator of the electroencephalography of several public and private units in the north and center of the country.
At the same time, in 2009 she began her research as a neuroscience researcher at FMUP. She has developed research in the anatomy department of this faculty and also in the IBMC - Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology and the Institute of Research and Innovation in Health in addition to the research, FMU and FCNAUP - Faculdade de Ciências da Nutrição e Alimentação da Universidade do Porto, have taught curricular units directed to the functioning of the nervous system, such as "Brain and behavior" and "neuroanatomy".

Mariana Pereira obtained her graduation in Neurophysiology at Escola Superior de Saúde in 2014. In 2016 she also obtained her master's degree in Neurosciences at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa.
Since 2016 she is assistent professor at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa.
She is currently attending her master's degree in Medicine.
Maria Assunção Vaz Patto
She graduated in Medicine from Universidade de Coimbra in 1987.
She completed his Master's Degree in Neuroscience at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra in 1996 and completed her PhD in Neuroscience, from University College, University of London, in 2005.
In 2015 she completed the Master of Gerontology, by the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Salamanca.
In 1998 she obtained the specialty of Neurology at Centro Hospitalar de Coimbra and completed the competency in Clinical Neurophysiology, by the Medical Order, in 1998.
She's currently consultant in Neurology since 2015 and works in the Hospital Sousa Martins, ULS da Guarda, part time since 2010.
She is an Associate Professor at Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade da Beira Interior, where she teaches since 2002.
Her research areas are the neurophysiology of aging, namely the clinical use of transcranial magnetic stimulation and electromyography.

Rui Braga obtained his degree in Neurophysiology - Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto - 2002. He is attending Master in Medicine - Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto
In 2013 he obtained the title of Specialist in Neurophysiology.
He's currently professor of Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto - IPP - Clinical Physiology Courses - Regent of the Electromyography and Evoked Potentials chairs.
Professional activity: Neurophysiologist in the Company "Neurografia", working in the areas of Electromyography and Evoked Potentials in several public and private hospitals, namely in the group Hospital da Luz, Trofa Saúde and Hospital entre Douro e Vouga (Hospital S. Sebastião-Santa Maria da Feira).
