PhD in Medicine in 1992, Aggregation in Neurology in 1997 at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon (FM-UL), Invited Associate Professor of Neurology (FM-UL), Biomedical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico-UL, 2003-2016. Coordinated, at FM-UL, the Master's Degree in Sleep Science 2005-2012 and was a member of the organizing committee of the 2013-2016 IST-UL Biomedical Engineering Course. CENC Clinical Director, Sleep Medicine Center, since 1983. Published 154 scientific articles; editor / co-editor of 13 scientific books, co-authored 70 book chapters, supervised 11 PhD theses and 62 Masters theses. In citations the index "h" is 34; i10 68. Clara Santos obtained her Bachelor's degree in Neurophysiology at Escola Técnica dos Serviços de Saúde de Coimbra. In 1997 she also obtnaied her degree in Psychology at Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra. She's currently working at Centro Hospital e Universitário de Coimbra as technical Coordinator for the Neurophysiology Technicians.
In 2014 she took the first grandparenting examination of Somnologist Technologists, commissioned by the ESRS in Tallinn on 16 and 17 September 2014 during the 22nd Congress of the European Sleep Research Society.

Ana Rita Peralta
Ana Rita Peralta obtained her medical degree and Master degree in Neuroscience at the University of Lisbon Medical School. She was later specialized in Neurology at Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, where she also obtained Neurophysiology and Sleep training. She has the Somnologist title by European Sleep Research Society and the competence in Sleep Medicine from the Portuguese Medical Association. She currently works Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, mostly involved in Sleep, Epilepsy and Neurophysiology, and as a teaching Assistant at the University of Lisbon Medical School. Her main area of interest, for both clinical and research, is sleep in neurological disorders.
Rosa Santos obtained her Bachelor's degree in Neurophysiography at ESTESL, 1985.
She worked in Laboratório EEG Hospital Júlio de Matos - 1985-2001.
She's currently working in Neurology CHLN (H. Sta Maria) since 2001 as a Coordinating Technique of Neurophysiology of CHLN.

Paulo Coelho licensed by Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra in 2003. He did his Neurology Specialty in University Hospital Center of Coimbra, and Clinical Neurophysiology Sub-specialty in University Hospital Center of Porto.
He's currently working as Neurologist at Mealhada Misericórdia Hospital, Neurologist at CUF Porto Hospital and Neurology Assistant and Clinical Neurophysiologist at Matosinhos Local Health Unit - Pedro Hispano Hospital.
Pedro Guimarães licensed by Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (2000-2006). He did his Complementary Internship in the Neurology Service of the Hospital do Centro de Trás os Montes e Alto Douro (2008-2013), and the Cycle of Special Studies in Clinical Neurophysiology at Centro Hospitalar do Porto (2015-2017).
He has several papers presented and published: Epilepsy, Sleep, Neurophysiology, Epidemiology of Neurological Diseases, and also several projects of Clinical Research in Neurological Diseases.
He's currently Hospital Assistant in Neurology since 2013 at Centro Hospitalar de Trás os- Montes e Alto Douro.
Mónica Freitas obtained her graduation in Neurophysiology at Escola Superior de Tecnologias da Sáude do Porto, in 2002.
She is currently working in Hospital Santo António, Porto.
She has a Master Degree in Bioethics by Faculdade de Medicina do Porto (2012).
Neurophysiology Specialist Title in 2016, by Escola Superior de Saúde, Porto.
